Perspective 03:18
Every time I look I just see the face Every time I feel I can only just taste The cry of children with no time for fun But only the fear of a loaded gun. Looking back, looking back, Looking back, we should get some perspective. Looking back, looking back, We should get some perspective. Things aren’t good but things aren’t bad, Things seem worse just as they triad The arms of surrender holding me tight The arms of children mourning in the night. The tank, the rocket, the missile, the gun, Fired from a lonesome just hidden by bracken. The mortar, the rocket, the grenade, the gun, Fired from a lonesome and the deed is done. The tank, the rocket, the missile, the gun, Fired from a lonesome just hidden by bracken. Every time I smell I just smell the smoke Every time I swallow they just ever provoke The cry of children with no time for fun But only the fear of a loaded gun. Looking back, looking back, Looking back, we should get some perspective. Looking back, looking back, We should get some perspective.

Robin Hood 04:18
I make a mark on your hand, you make a mark on my mind I send a look your direction and you pretend to be blind When I missed you for a day you said it felt like a year I guess we were in better shape back then, my dear I say well let them be jealous, you say 'If only I could They like to steal from the rich, just like Robin Hood' Join me for one more dance One more chance, you can hold my lance Whilst I armour myself with the books on the shelf 'Cos I'm not going anywhere from here. I try and I try till I fear it might break Then I realise with a jerk it might've been a mistake A mountain, a fountain this trickle's now a flood I'm falling, I'm stalling, [feels like] my mind's stuck in mud I've woken up feeling bad, I've woken up feeling good You say I'd like being mad, I say I probably would Just like Robin Hood Fancy boys with fancy toys Well I'd rather drown in a wall of noise Pinned up scarecrows, with the same hairdos Well I'm loose like a goose and horny like a moose Let's go!

Kingston 05:08
Going out in the City of Ska, another chance to try and win hearts, but as for being a star, well first you gotta get to Mars, so get singing. Watch out now, it’s smokey here, the streets it seems will never be clear, follow me I have the key to the City of Ska. Are there devils in your eyes or am I just high? But my dear I’ve got a friend here and although he’s on the mend, he needs a helping hand, please take him downtown. Don’t tell your mother, ‘cos I don’t want another load of crap on my back, just cut me some slack and take it, just take it, just take it a day at a time. You’d like to meet my dad; he’s a hippy, half mad, but he’s a cool guy and he’ll open up your mind and he takes it, he takes it, he takes it a day at a time. Slow your heart right down, listen to your own sound, if you feel the flow don’t try to be clever ‘cos my friend, that doesn’t work ever, just take it as it comes. When I look at the stars, I wonder, “Will we get that far?” Before we make a mess of all that is good, instead of doing with our time what we could. Open up your eyes. Floatin’ on by in the City of Ska, laughter reminiscent of the night before, I wish I could remember more. We were floatin’ on by in the City of Ska, laughter reminiscent of the night before, Don’t you wish you could remember more? I feel like there’s a bubble inside of me but my problem is that it’s empty. I might just fade away to the City of Ska.

about

Our very first three track EP, recorded in the studio of Preston FM featuring the first three songs we wrote as a band. Put up here for completeness and posterity, we hope you enjoy listening to the earlier versions of songs which were rerecorded and in one case majorly reworked for Suitcase.
